The bristles are long, flexible, and densely packed. They flex with the shape of each curl instead of pulling against it, so you can work through tangles on wet or dry hair with less snapping and breakage compared to a rigid paddle brush. The handle is shaped to sit comfortably in the hand for longer detangling sessions.
