A wide-tooth comb is the gentlest way we know to work through curls, coils, and freshly washed hair. The Anna's Wide-Tooth Comb is 8 inches long with smooth, rounded sandalwood teeth spaced wide apart — enough room to glide through tangles without dragging.
Wood combs feel different from plastic ones. They're warmer in the hand, lighter than they look, and they don't build up static the way plastic can on curly textures. The teeth are sanded smooth so they don't catch on hair or scrape the scalp.
We recommend using it on damp hair after washing, with a leave-in or conditioner, starting from the ends and working up toward the roots.
Care: wipe with a dry cloth between uses. If it needs a deeper clean, use a drop of mild shampoo on a damp cloth and dry the comb immediately — do not soak in water.
